The first thing you’re likely to see and remember from a visit to Nashville is “the Batman building.” And if you make it to a local nightclub, one of the neighborhoods or turn the radio dial to one of the few urban stations, Young Paper’s “Dope Boy Swag” will be heard more than once and etch a mark in your memory bank. Commonly referred to as “Tha City Paper,” this track has held the city down since before I posted and is still alive now, no exaggeration. Two days ago, I heard a few kids taking turns reciting the lines, arguing about who he referring to with each line and all that old sh#t.
