12.03.10 Written by J. Tinsley

Damn, Dan.

– All week, the big news in the sports world centered around LeBron James’ return to Cleveland. Three quarters, 38 points and eight assists later, fans were left only to reminisce when it was all so simple.

– Where there are success stories in sports, there are also heartbreaks. The crew thought of 10 that still tug at our emotions.

The Week That Was: The Where’s “Under Pressure”? Edition

04.10.10 Written by MZ

I know you spend a lot of time in the studio Dre, but what’s up?  By your appearance at Fenway on Sunday to peddle your headphones with Jimmy, I’m pretty sure you didn’t think yesterday was April 1st did you?  We’ve all come to grips in our own way about whether Detox is fact or fiction, so don’t play with man.  Say Detox is coming soon all you want, but don’t give us titles & dates with no intention of following up.  We’ll welcome your music with open arms, but until then we’ll find other ways to keep ourselves entertained.  Daddy Fat Sacks filled the void pretty nicely this week. The Week That Was: The Back To The Grind Edition

03.27.10 Written by MZ

While some of the crew came back from Austin rejuvenated, full of vim and vigor and ready to write.  Others returned needing  a vacation to recuperate from vacation.  I fell sorely in the latter category and have been using SXSW as my crutch for everything from crummy NCAA picks to waking up late for work.  Nonetheless, we buckled down and knocked out a pretty good week if I don’t say so myself.
