Well well, here’s a twist. After months of leaking subpar tracks, Game has found a way to rise to the occasion. All he had to do was enlist a group of A-list features and an equally esteemed producer and the job was virtually done for him. No matter the dismal quality of his recent mixtapes, Game has consistently shown that he is capable of putting out quality, trunk-pounding music and this song is definitely a step in the right direction. Jayceon let loose “400 Bars” via his Twitter today and it’s probably done exactly what he wanted the song to do, which is get his name into immediately circulation regardless of the expense. I find it quite sacrilegious that he’d do such a lengthy performance over “Exhibit C.” He could have easily used “I Wanna Rock” or one of those other well-worn songs instead of treading on holy ground with his red houseshoes. Let’s cut to the chase, this track is dope. As a fan of Game since the days when he used to sound like Shyne, I’ll be the first to admit the previous leaks haven’t, how do I say this, piqued my interest.
