Whether an artist looks toward heightening their lives from funds collected, appeasing their ego with fame or simply tries to go legit and fly straight, everybody in the music business has an agenda. There’s nothing wrong with that. As they say, to each his own. Still, with typically cash-driven prerogatives, artists have leaned further and further away from just making a song that can cater to any age group and leave listeners saying with a grin, “Now, that was a good tune.”
