I love Hip-Hop folklore.

Then again, I’m just a sucker for a good story, regardless of the topic. To this day, my grandmother will tell me stories of what life was like in the Great Depression and the Civil Rights Movement. And each time I still find myself in amazement. It’s the same way with music and probably explains the reason why I watch that damn Jackson movie every time it comes on VH1. Drizz Lightyear sat down with MTV (for what, like the fiftenth Monday in a row?) earlier on in the week and basically broke down what we already knew. Mixtapes have become more than just a generic way of staying musically revelvant. It can breed careers. (Or mega-careers like it did with So Far Gone.)
