Donny Goines celebrates the flashier facets of the Far East on “Ich!ban,” the lead track off upcoming project Success Served Cold. The backbeat is on some Asian prog-rock shit—you can imagine some Japanese guys in red leather suits with crazy hair rocking out to these riffs. Death is a perfectly normal part of life and so is coping with it. However, when suicide is the reason for the funeral, the unanswered questions and self-condemnation can last a lifetime. So much to the point where it unnaturally becomes a part of life itself.
