Just as The Rezidue predicted, the riff between Killer Mike and Big Boi is no more.
The crazy thing is, around the same time Bear made that call, he was on his way to record the first edition of his Sunday Morning Massacre series…with intent to go at Big Boi for the remarks.
Fortunately/unfortunately, a bad storm hit Atlanta and knocked the power out over a large portion of the city, including the studio where Mike planned to record. Big Boi’s uncle Darnell and Bear were encouraging Big to peace things up once and for all.
This is honorable on so many levels. Not only does it show the maturity of both individuals involved, look @ the calibur of artists we’re dealing with here. Think about some of the so-called rappers involved in some “beef” and ask yourself: “How good is MC So-&-So?”
When you’re equipped with skills, there’s no need for the Hip-Hop-melo-drama all over wax. And the Dungeon Family just solidified that for us.
Merry Christmas From The Dungeon Family [The Rezidue]
