Ski and Freddie together for “Illegal Life,” the track previewed in video a few short days ago. Freddie pretty much proves that he can rap over any beat thrown in front of him and do it well. Starting the song on a street tip, Gibbs switch to a more political pundit midway through the first verse, harping on the politricks of Capitol Hill and dealing with corrupt cops and the lyrics provide a harsh but fitting match to Ski’s metal-laced production.

Karate School Pt. 2 hits retail tomorrow and the fuss seems much less when compared to the focus Pt. 1 received. Then again, the previous release was full of fumbled release dates and misinformation so maybe the quiet route will work better.
