I’ve spent a lot of time in my life defending Lil Wayne as a legitimately smart person. Reading Rolling Stone lately has been an exercise in patience. Just last month, I saw a department in the magazine about SXSW that talked about the event without mention of a single Hip-Hop act, so needless to say, I’ve already soured on the publication.
