“I’m Just A Bill…”
09.14.08Thursday afternoon the Senate Judiciary Committee voted 14 – 4 for The Enforcement of Intellectual Rights Act which would allow the U.S. Department to prosecute copyright infringement cases without having to go through civil court. The act would also create a Cabinet position which would report directly to the President. They would be responsible for creating a worldwide plan to combat piracy. Read the rest of this entry »
