After the original version of Trombone Shorty’s Cajun-cooked “Do To You” single had you saving old newspapers for a late season shrimp broil, UK future-producer Star Slinger cooked up his own remix to rock the discotheques. Per usual, the MPC master adds his own mechanical masquerade around the horn sections from before and cranks up the energy all around, which should leave his fans happy. Fans of the New Orleans trumpeter’s version, however, might find this electronic circus a tad overwhelming.
