Yesterday marked the first Sneakers & Speakers event held at PhatKaps here in Nashville. Lots of great displays were on showcase, several artists held it down with solid performances to entertain the crowd and a shared sense of camaraderie was evident among people who came either for their love of kicks or music, all highlighting an event that was packed beyond anything I expected. How did last Thursday’s Yelawolf show turn out? Not too shabby for hosting our first performance here in Nashville, which coincidentally was the first in which I ran the point. Hosting a stage has intricacies which I didn’t see initially but had to learn quickly. T @ of Nashville boutique shop PhatKaps asked me to swing by to take a look at a new deliveries because he’s one of the few in the city who can match my Fresh and it doesn’t get any sweeter than this elite collabo tee. Linking with Play Cloths, PK’s created this dope boy fresh mock-up of the brand’s signature Jack logo outfitted with royal blue tiger stripes and red outlines to commemorate the homecoming celebration for local HBCU Tennessee State University.
