Yesterday in Sayreville NJ, the marquee outside of Club Abyss boldly announced its big event of the day as Raekwon was there shooting the video for his bangin’ new single, “Wu Ooh,” featuring Ghostface and Method Man. Before The Chef arrived, I shot the breeze with Rae’s brother/manager DonPerrrion Woods as we stood in the club’s parking lot. Mid-convo, Don glanced up at the marquee emblazoned with “Built 4 Cubin Links 2.”

“They ain’t spell it right,” Don muttered. “Whoever put that up gotta fix it.”

Now that Cam’s hooked up with the gang from The Real, it’s safe to assume that he’s back. Actually he’s been back since “I Hate My Job,” but this will tide us over til “I Used To Get It In Ohio” drops in video form Wednesday on MTV2 (or sooner on the net). Read the rest of this entry »

Cam’ron comes through with a prelude for his next video “I Used To Get It In Ohio.” After Nova called out Cam for his artistic gumption, I can vouch for Cam’s Ohio connection. I’m not sure “what” he got in Ohio, but he came to my job on more than one occasion around ’03-’04. And when it says prelude, it means prelude, as this is all cinematic endeavors. Aside from Juelz, Cam seems to have other problems as the young boy Nova is not the least bit pleased with him swiping his idea for “I Hate My Job.”
