Most wearers don’t actually need boots, outside of those who live in heavy snow regions or terrains where rugged outsoles are a requirement. Let’s face it, many of us opt to do it more for fashion than function by why sacrifice comfort in exchange for looking the part? My closet will always contain a pair of 6″ Timbs, but they’re more for when I have to do actual outside work in winter than footwear I choose to wear while going to a basketball game or sitting in Starbucks.
