Over the past the week, there have been numerous stories focusing on the reformatting going on over at the once-hyped MySpace Records. Now, according to Paste Magazine, it seems as if “restructuring” unfortunately means firing everybody and struggling to save face.

MySpace Records just released the first single for their newly signed artist Christina Milian. “Us Against The World,” is definitely a safe choice because it’s a power ballad which will more than likely enjoy some success on the charts since it sounds like a slower tempo version of Alicia’s “No One.” It surely won’t be around by the time her album is slated to drop in the Spring of 2009. Although I won’t object to the increase of photos of her popping up on the net, she’s not the safest bet to launch a label on. Read the rest of this entry »
