Lloyd Banks Feat. Young Jeezy – “Start It Up (Remix)”

01.31.11 Written by J. Tinsley

Yeah, this is more like it. The other day I voiced my sentiments towards Young Jeezy’s current state. I said what I said and stand by those words because it’s how I felt at the current time. But whenever Jeezy uploads something worth praise, then I have no problem giving buddy his just due. Take this remix of Lloyd Banks missed single “Start It Up,” for example. Lloyd Banks Feat. Jeremih – “I Don’t Deserve You” Video

01.24.11 Written by J. Tinsley

First things first, much respect to Lloyd Banks for continuing to push Hunger For More 2 even with what I am sure are disappointing sales. I’m almost positive it was Amp I was talking to when the album first dropped and we both were in agreement that his Jeremih assisted cut “I Don’t Deserve You” needed to be a single. 01.17.11 Written by J. Tinsley

Queens in this bitch/Clean in the 6/New York City, I don’t like no team but the Knicks…

The numbers may not reflect so, but Lloyd Banks capped off his return to relevancy with last year’s Hunger For More 2. Time moves fast however. New music is needed to satisfy the public’s thirst, therefore new music is always being recorded. Take this collaboration with Jim Jones, “Fly In The Wind.” Read the rest of this entry »

Welcome 2 Detroit: Eminem Live At Comerica Park

01.03.11 Written by Raj

It’s common knowledge that years of relentless performing led Eminem to his multiple drug dependencies and four year hiatus from Hip-Hop, and since then he’s been notoriously known to very, very rarely grace the live stage. So naturally when Marshall and Hov linked up for the Home And Home tour in Detroit and New York, Hip-Hop went completely bananas. Read the rest of this entry »

If you can’t beat ‘em, you might as well join ‘em and that’s how Reek Da Villian is presenting you with his new effort. Until Busta Rhymes figures out how he wants to attack the second half of his career, he’s giving Long Island his energy on the street album, mixtape thingamajig The Gift. Loud beats and contributions from Waka Flocka Flame, Fizzy Womack and that ill ass “Mechanics (Remix)” stamped with a big red bow is how we’re closing out 2010 with The Conglomerate. “Start It Up” – Review Of Lloyd Banks’ H.F.M. 2 (The Hunger For More 2)

12.07.10 Written by MZ

With 50 Cent becoming more and more enamored with movie trailers than vocal booths, the time has finally come for Lloyd Banks to step to the forefront. With the release of his third album, H.F.M. 2 (The Hunger For More 2), there’s an obvious focus on the commercial side of things now that the Southside Queens native is waving the G-Unit flag by his lonesome. When 50 was reigning terror on the airwaves, Banks was able to keep the core G-Unit fan base appeased with street bangers like “On Fire,” “Cake,” and “I’m So Fly” where getting money and stuntin’ were the main objectives. Now the attention is applied in varying degrees towards the fairer sex. Read the rest of this entry »

TSS Presents Smoking Sessions With Lloyd Banks

11.23.10 Written by TC

In the military, when the top-ranking official of the operation is rendered incapable of doing their job, the next in line steps up and fills the slot without so much of a eye blink. The G-Unit battleship has posed a similar situation in 2010. Although General 50 Cent is still very much in tune with the rap world, he has come to a stage in his career where spitting rhymes isn’t his primal focus. Leave it to Lloyd Banks to all but obliterate his solo hiatus by clearing out car lots with his monster single “Beamer, Benz Or Bentley” and simultaneously renewing the interest in his camp’s brand in the process. Lloyd Banks – “When I Get There”

10.25.10 Written by Gotty™

I’m really feeling Banks’ recent output. While he’s long claimed to have a Hunger For More, the music hasn’t felt like it. Now with Fif’s waning attention for music and Yayo carving his sizeable niche, it’s left G-Unit’s most lyrical in a sink or swim situation Read the rest of this entry »
