Gimmicks and ruses to gain attention run amuck in rap. Thankfully, T-Shirt’s one who cries wolf but does much to maintain attention once he lures you in. In fact, I’ve been quietly watching him, like I do most artists I’m unfamiliar with, and his material has been entertaining thus far. Right now, my nod goes to him and Action Bronson as two NYC cats worthy of watching and listening to. None of which is to say either will blaze trails in the game but they sure are talented and make good music.
