Amidst all the snappin’ and trappin’ emerging from the south in the last five years, a few half-pint MCs managed to sneak in the door and leave their mark on the game for better or worse. One of these pipsqueaks slayed the ringtone game and had White folks everywhere thanking their lucky stars for the dumb ass dance he dropped in their laps. The other, hit like a hurricane with his 2007 single “Ay Bay Bay” and quickly dissipated only to return once again in early 2009 with an ode to the exceptionally fine Halle Berry.
