Leaving Melanie Fiona in the pole position as the “next” one on the female R&B scene. Next what remains to be seen, but she’s off to a good start. I’m really impressed with this Melanie Fiona. I had insomnia the other night and caught her on Carson Daly, then saw your post yesterday. Anyway, today I’d put together this lil bootleg compilation with a few tracks from OnSMASH and some streams. Green Lantern hosted a sampler with 2 min snippets that was posted over on different kitchen. Couple of those, couple live versions, etc etc. SQ isn’t the best throughout, but its what’s out there right now. Thought u may be interested…”

Melanie Fiona may be unfamiliar to many, as she was to me until a few days ago, but she’s definitely worth a listen.
