Here’s a sneak peak of the familiar Kool & The Gang tune being reworked by DJ Spinna for Highwater Music, the label started by Squeeze Radio’s Sucio Smash. This is a promo clip for Spinna’s production album Sonic Smash & it includes artists such as Fresh Daily, P.Casso and more. Look for the quick cameo of another producer – Ski Beats. I love these behind the scenes moments just in the lab, giving us a view of the buggin out and vibing while the music is made.

Sonic Smash drops on 6.30.09 and includes some notable features from Phonte, Elzhi, Homeboy Sandman along with other High Water artists and more.
