Empire Of The Sun was introduced to me as ‘this year’s MGMT.’ In my book, that’s quite the compliment.

Although this two-man band’s production may not be quite on par with that of MGMT, the Brooklyn synth-pop duo who came out of nowhere with their acclaimed mainstream debut album Oracular Spectacular, I can see the similarities. Read the rest of this entry »
