New mixtape from Raheem DeVaughn… if you needs a treatise as to why you should download this, keep it moving.  All I know is I sat at a cookout this weekendwhere the music alternated between Gucci Mane, Destiny’s Child & someone’s freakum mix.  All in an effort to appease a grandmother who wasn’t paying any attention to what was blaring from the speakers.  But I’m sure she’d approve of this if she had chose to turn up her earpieces.

David Stern has to be happy after the Conference Semifinals.  Two game 7′s and two Conference Finals match-ups with big names: Lebron Vs. Dwight and Kobe Vs. Carmelo.  So before we look ahead, we’ll take one more look back over the Conference Semifinals real quick.  S. I’m pretty sure almost everybody around here remembers walking out the house in a similar fashion a few years ago. Polo, Nautica, Tommy, Starter and Eddie Bauer were the brands du jour and we walked around high school/college like it was an urban country club. Poppin’ tags meant leaving them on (and visible) so everyone knew how much you paid (or didn’t pay). Well, the Los Angeles Unified Sound District does and they’ve created a mixtape to celebrate the era.
