“The Ghostface Show”

Like many Hip-Hop nerds I did a college radio show. It’s a thankless job especially if you have shitty wattage. Even my friends in the dorms can barely hear the mixes. Only toward the end of my time at the station they got internet streaming, and by then I was graduating – fuckers. One of the cats I hung out with at the station was DJ Teddy King. “How did you come up with Teddy King?” I asked him and he easily replied that it was his real name. For some reason I didn’t believe him but that’s coming from someone with the last name Hortillas.  From then on when I saw him I would say his name in full – never Ted, Teddy, or call him by his surname.
