“Stop with those depressin’ *ss songs, it’s the summertime get some p#ssy and go home.”
Budden, you set yourself up for this. All the video blogging and Twittering. Built Tahiry up, only for her to downgrade you once you all separated. Got a new (used) chick who’s liable to do the same. Ultimately, you left yourself exposed and that’s not exactly safe for someone who I suspect is not wrapped too tight to begin.
Not to say that Lil B murked anything here or should even be taken seriously. I mean he’s in the f#ckin’ Pack for crying out loud. In fact, I’m still convinced that Lil B or anybody who subscribes to his music probably suffered a childhood tragedy like being socked by a kangaroo while on a school zoo trip. What I see is Mouse – one of my favorite lyrical bullies – has fallen so far off the mark that another man who calls himself a “pretty b*tch” feels totally safe in calling him out on wax. Or the internuts rather.
Whatever though, Joe. I lost faith in you several weak offerings ago when you proved that making a listenable album wasn’t in your arsenal of magic tricks. Letting off even a scathing mp3 won’t distract from the fact that you are now a Papoose award winner for not being able to rise above mixtapes. Don’t even bother responding to the track (and Basehead has since apologized anyways). I’d hate to see two emo rappers sissy-fighting. And when I think about it, the two of you have more in common than I realized when I started writing this, both having been snuffed on camera. Get PM Dawn to join in and softly sing, then the three of you might gain relevancy.
