With Chris Brown’s recent Grammy nod, he’s riding the wave and gaining his relevancy back in preparation for his next LP. Since the summer, we’ve been hearing his new hybrid rapping/singing approach and “Look At Me Now” – which the singer tweeted a few days ago – is another encouraging joint that utilizes the style. Yesterday’s inbox deliveries included a specially packaged, Matrix-like red or blue pill parcel with Mr. Forte’s name stamped on two tracks and they’re both distinctly different but enjoyable. “King Tut” swipes Swizz’s song title and N.E.R.D.’s “God Bless Us All” big beat and it’s all braggadocious ‘Bere exercising his commanding voice over the blaring bassline.
