When I used to watch “Run’s House,” Diggy used to be my least favorite Simmons child. Too damn whiny. But little shorty’s balls dropped, he got some hair on his lip, hit the scene and now he’s developed into a cool little dude. Delivery-wise, let’s just say that he’s got most adolescents beat and could easily give the under/at 21′s a run for their money. And since the daughters’ Pastry pet project didn’t seem to catch on and JoJo’s rap career fizzled fast, Diggy’s left carrying the torch for the family. For now at least.

Oh, you didn’t think I forgot did you? This happens to be a few days late, but it is still early enough to be considered a premature Christmas gift. Yes, folks, Young Digs has finally dropped his freshman effort, The First Flight. Without confusing it with Freddie G’s new release, The Rev.’s second son attempts to put those who doubt his skills up on game. Maybe I’m expecting too much, maybe I’m not. The last time I saw Run’s middle son was on an episode of “Run’s House.” At this time, Young Diggy was into skateboarding and dressing like Pharrell. With that in mind you have to forgive me if I wasn’t exactly in panic mode to hear this kid had taken a stab at rapping.
