Somewhere along the line’s of yesterday, Decatur Dan set loose this wonderfully shot footage of Don Cannon doing what I guess we’ll call promo for Old Jeezy’s (he’s no longer Young) Trap Or Die 2 mixtape. And with that, the Internet was charged, ready for the release of something epic.

The problem is the same one that has beset so many other mixtapes and albums. Fab’s TINC2, Ski’s 24 Hour Karate School and this tape. All hit with Detox syndrome. Trap Or Die 2 was supposed to release around early February, the same time Peyton Manning was hearing choruses of “Who Dat?” in the Super Bowl. Over here, we’ve had a draft laying in wait, ready for the release. In the time that’s passed, there’s been enough commotion behind the scenes that the post we were going to publish won’t be published…if the tape ever drops.
