Don’t take Cutlass Reid’s laid back demeanor for a lack of caring.  It’s just that the Norfolk, VA native has been around long enough (as part of Nottz’ group D.M.P.) to know that actions speak louder than words.  So in preparation for his upcoming mixtape At The End Of The Day, he skipped the trailers and got right down to business.  With the song/video combo for “Reality Check” leading the way, Reid delivers exactly what the title suggests.  A dose of reality.

Relaxed in his delivery & confident in his skills, Cutlass approaches his bars in a workmanlike way.  The end result is good music reminiscent of an era long gone.  While this philosophy may not make him rich and famous, he can’t do any worse than if he were to put the mic down for good and get a real nine to five.
