Cam’ron Giles is a lot of things to a lot of people. Obviously, he’s a rapper. He’s a basketball player. He’s a leader. He’s also an actor. Businessman fits the description as well. Renegade pedophile hunter does too – he was in the process of filming his own To Catch A Predator series a couple years back which would have been nothing short of awesome had it been released, by the way.

That being said, another one of Cam’s many talents is that of “ladies man.” Male celebrities meet their fair share of women on a daily basis to a point where most guys’ fantasies are their realities. Cam’ron is no exception; except in the fact he has no problem taking the listener into his world with the opposite sex through various recorded conversations. They all revolve around him being an asshole, but that’s what make those momentary breaks from music so great.

To reminisce on Killa’s standout conversations, let us all take a trip, sit back in amazement and learn a few life lessons from this Harlem Diplomat.

Too often do we sift through the predictable media cycle of artists yelling how “crazy” their album is or even fixing their lying ass mouths to utter the other “C” word — classic. How about these C’s: cut the crap. Each year, the allure of the album continues to decrease thanks in part to overhyped, superfluous projects that only possess a handful of good songs. As far as comebacks go, you’ve got to hand it to Cam’ron for doing a pretty decent job of getting his name back out in the public after three years of self-exile. With appearances popping up here and there, it seemed like he was genuinely excited about being back, and since he dropped a little heat between then and now, a handful of people were pretty excited to have him back.

However, there’s a catch with comebacks. After all the buzz, hoopla and “welcome back’s,” the artist has to have something compelling to make it worth the wait. Nas’ Stillmatic had “Ether” and the battle for the NY crown whereas LL Cool J’s Mama Said Knock You Out had a MC at his hungriest, intent on dominantly proving his continued relevance. Even that other recent comeback album upheld the intriguing theme of an artist’s return to their old character. So how does Crime Pays keep listeners interested in Cam’s revival? 50 Cent once teased Cam’ron for his nonsensical rhyme schemes. True, there’s times when Killa Cam sounds like he’s the narrator for his own line of Dipset nursery stories but if you listen closely, you’ll notice Cam’s rhyme book isn’t always easily made the butt of a punchline.

TSS: (Laughs) I’m saying is there anything you can do on your end for reconciliation.

Cam’ron: Well you know it’s not in my near future. I don’t never wanna say never but I got a lot going on this year. With two movies, two soundtracks and two albums, my year’s pretty filled up so it’s definitely not gonna happen this year. Never say never though!
