The industry isn’t the NBA. So when you hear an artist boasting about their free agency, it’s never a good thing. I can never understand what certain artists look to accomplish by going for dolo when their claim to fame is association with the ship they abandoned and especially when they have an entire discography dedicated to expressing their loyalty in verse. Their story is always the same as well: “They didn’t promote my album right” or “We released the wrong single.” But that’s not song they were singing prior to the album’s release.
