Still soaking up the acclaim of his very first mixtape, Atlanta’s Pill is already preparing to release the sequel, 4075: The Refill. When he came by the office this past April to rap for our “Where In The World Is…” series, we sat down to really rap and found that he had some interesting things to say off the mic as well. Above, watch him talk about seeding his rap career from the football field, being the first male in his family to graduate high school and recording at Stankonia.

It’s quite obvious I’m pullin for Pill for his Grind Time affiliation. But when you listen to his music, he jacked a few beats & put together a mixtape that almost brings you back to the other side of Atlanta, before it was a major player on the rap scene. A place with a lot less jewelry & shine. Less partying, more struggling to come up.
