Skip all of the pastels, elaborate color placement and excessive materials. Nice Kicks keeps it simple and classy with their upcoming New Balance collaboration. The Austin retail shop uses classic suede and their signature gray and red color scheme on the 1500 model. Very simple but highly effective and even more highly sought after once the December 16th release day arrives.

Just last week, my wife gave me my monthly allowance and I hit up a few local boutiques to scope out some gear. The Orisue wovens caught my eye and I made a mental note that I’d come back and grab some when I wanted make an all-out shopping spree. My sister Juan and I did Black Friday once, half-heartedly. One time in the early 2000′s, we went to Walmart at 8 AM, which was early for us at the time, only to discover everything in the ads had been bought out, the store nearly empty and functioning at regular pace. Following the success of the previous event in June, he showcase’s setup remains still the same, incorporating sneakers, live musical performances, display booths, giveaways and more. But event organizers went a step beyond the inaugural event by partnering with Soles4Soles, a Nashville-based charity that collects old shoes and distributes them to those in need. adidas releases a new commercial starring Dwight Howard, Eric Gordon, Jrue Holiday and Big Sean showcasing the new adiZero Crazy Light, a basketball sneaker touted as the lightest ever since it’s said to weigh only 9.8 ounces.
