The Australia-Netherlands World Cup match looks like a blowout on paper but the game’s frantic pace has us glued to our televisions. Why’s that? Check out Arjen Robben’s opening goal in the 20th minute, which was followed by Tim Cahill’s sledgehammer barely a minute afterwards.

First, Robben’s goal.

Robben took the ball from damn near midfield and drug the Australian defense along for the run, before cooly slotting the ball far-post past Aussie goalkeeper Mathew Ryan. That tally put the Dutch up 1-0, but only for 70 seconds until…

The assist that set up Cahill’s goal resembles the kickoff cheese in FIFA ’14. It looks SO AWESOME in real life, though, particularly since Cahill hit it in one motion.

The game stands at 1-1 at the beginning of the second half.

UPDATE: The Netherlands go up 3-2 after Memphis Depay’s outside boot strike dips just enough to evade the keeper. Raise your hand if you think he did that on purpose. The goal gives the Dutch the win and now Australia knows Rasheed Wallace’s pain.
