While his songs reside on the radio every hour on the hour across the country, Chris Brown had another court appearance today. He admitted to violating probation in D.C. last year after a scuffle with a young man who photobombed a picture with he and a fan.

By doing so, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin hit Brown with 365 additional days in jail, but was given credit for time served, leaving 131 days to sit in the belly of the beast. The controversial singer’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, is already on the hunt to have Brown released much sooner than later.

“I would expect that Chris should be out of jail before the weekend’s up or before Monday,” Geragos said after the hearing. “If he isn’t out by Monday, then I would expect he’s getting special treatment. He’s got over 230 days credit on a 365 (day sentence) and generally the sheriff is releasing on a lot less than that.”

Whenever Brown is released, he still must complete approximately 700 hours of community service at roughly three days per week. At that rate, the “Excuse Me Miss” singer’s probation should end January 23, 2015.
