Jimmy Fallon And Will Smith Take Us Through The Evolution Of Hip-Hop Dancing

Seeing The Tonight Show without Jay Leno still constitutes as weird, but the overwhelming sentiment appears to be Jimmy Fallon is batting 1.000 after his first night as host of the iconic program.

One of the segments featured an adaptation on his popular history of Hip-Hop alongside Justin Timberlake. Only this time Will Smith joined the foray to present the “Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing.”

They do an admirable and often times comical job of running through the majority of the most popular dances. Yet, there are notable omissions like the Tootsie Roll, Butterfly and The Dip. You can’t do a piece on Hip-Hop dancing without including either the Tootsie Roll, Butterfly or The Dip!

Nevertheless, I’ll give Fallon the benefit of the doubt seeing as how it was his first night on the new gig. Don’t expect the same leeway moving forward.
