Nike’s Zoom Terra Kiger won’t receive a boatload of attention or marketing, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worthy of a little praise. I stumbled across a pair several weeks ago and fell for them instantly. They look like a cross between a runner and old ACG joints. The Terra Kiger’s modeled like a track spike but the shoes perform more like trail shoes with cross-country-inspired lugs and sticky rubber for increased traction on slippery surfaces. They also have a nice bounce to them since Zoom cushioning is used near the front and back of the shoe.
The blue pair I scooped was on sale for almost half of retail. If you can’t locate a pair for that price or simply refuse to wait it out, pick up any of these three colors featured here now at Nike.com. Even if you pay retail, it beats the frustration of striking out on the weekly hyped shoe.
