If anyone else is a fan of little rap stories, here’s one. According to Rick Ross, a conversation he had with Kanye led to Pusha T getting his second wind just as when the coke rap god was being left for dead.
Speaking with Skee recently, Rozay revealed that while in Hawaii to record Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the two had a conversation that resulted in Kanye signing King Push to G.O.O.D Music. “I was like, ‘Ye, that Pusha T, man…. that boy dope,’” he recalled. “He don’t got no situation right now. That’s something you should sleep on. Trust me.” And of course Pusha would go on to sign with the label in fall 2010.
And because we’re talking about Pyrex P, MNIMN sold 77,000 copies its first week out.
