Love it or hate it, Yeezus is, at the end of the day, a Kanye West album. So if B-sides are to be coming out of the pipeline, we’ll all be listening. The rapper teased the possibility of Yeezus outtakes seeing the light of day during a sit-down with Big Boy’s morning radio show on LA’s Power 106. At the 1:28 mark, ‘Ye reveals that “like five songs” still may be released when asked if there were songs in his iTunes that fans haven’t heard yet.
Hard not to get excited at the prospect. The rest of the two-hour interview covers a ton of ground: setting up the proposal to Kim, his long, public pursuit of her (a poem he wrote for Kim turned into the “Lost In The World” lyrics), wedding day surprises (“Two words: fighter jets”), explaining his Steve Jobs comparison, the small number of Black billionaires, and even an unexpected freestyle (1:06:30).
