You think you loved the Breaking Bad finale, don’t you? You reminisce on the last few episodes fondly enough to consider the show one of the best of all time. But is it possible you’re lying to yourself? Hear this out.

PBS’ Idea Channel has given us a little something to ponder over while we deal with our various stages of grief over the end of our favorite show. The Youtube channel, sponsored by the home of Big Bird and Elmo, is a great place to find some pretty fascinating discussions on the intersection between popular culture, video games, history, philosophy, art, and all the other stuff we contemplate on the internet when we’re “working”.

The thought-provoking and highly entertaining web-series has asked such provocative questions as “Are Hologram Tupac and Hologram Freddie Mercury Nostalgia or New Aesthetic?” and “Is Google Knowledge?” Each episode poses some pretty heavy questions but centers them in a context of pop culture reverence, humor, and accessibility. They balance out references to such big time thinkers like Marx, Sartre, and Geertz with clips from ’80s action films, ’90s Saturday morning cartoons, and any popular video game you can think of.

In a sense, it’s the PBS version of TSS (without The Nightcaps, sadly).
