The iPod Shuffle – Project Pat’s “Choose You”

Everyone adores and cherishes “International Players Anthem,” as they should. But paying homage to a song that flipped Willie Hutch’s “I Choose You” five summers earlier is never a bad idea.

Pat’s a dirty south legend in my book, an icon even. Is he mentioned with the Scarfaces, UGKs, Outkasts, Juicy J’s, DJ Pauls, DJ Screws and Ball & MJGs of the world? Not 100% of the time, but from Getty Green, to Mista Don’t Play to Layin Da Smack Down (which housed “Choose You”), Pat’s run in the late ’90s and early 2000′s was unfuckwitable.

Bonus: Pat dropped Cheez N Dope 2 a few days ago. Find that old tall white tee and tie a bandana so the knot is on your forehead and really immerse yourself in the ambience of the music.
