Rap King Cole: ‘Born Sinner’ Climbs To #1 Three Weeks After Being Released

By Word / 07.09.13

Rap nerds be damned! J. Cole’s Born Sinner is still selling like hotcakes!

Three weeks post-release, Jermaine can now humblebrag about having two #1 albums under his belt. According to the unofficial numbers, Born Sinner sold an impressive 56,000 copies its third week out, enough to propel the Roc Nation rapper ahead of the competition and to #1 on the Billboard charts. Since its release, Born Sinner has sold an astonishing 437,000 copies, just 63,000 copies shy of going gold.

With sales likes these, Mama Cole never has to worry about going back to that horrible post office again. Congrats, your baby boy isn’t a fluke!
