DJ Khaled Ft. Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne – “No New Friends” (Prod. By Boi-1da & Noah “40″ Shebib)

By Beware / 04.15.13

After listening to DJ Khaled’s latest radio sniper, we’re inclined to say this is the epitome of Drizzy’s recent line, “That’s why every song sounds like Drake featuring Drake.” Sure, the Ross and Wayne-assisted lineup actually seems like a sequel of sorts to “I’m On One,” but once you hear how the T-Dot native is positioned throughout the track’s timeline, it’s clear as the Miami coastline that anything happening outside his voice is an afterthought. Plus, with production once again being handled by the in-house team at OVO, saying “No New Friends” belongs to anyone else is merely a formality – even if it is the lead single for Khaled’s Suffering From Success album and named after his recent mini-movie.

Somewhere in the back room of a dark Los Angeles studio, Chris Brown is listening to “No New Friends” and finishing the stitches on his Wheelchair Jimmy voodoo doll. After this one, that’s about the only way he’ll be touching dude this Summer.
