There will be no tuning out of this year’s Super Bowl XLVII halftime show. According to the AP, Grammy-winner Beyonce will take the stage on Feb. 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Although the news isn’t confirmed, an official announcement is expected to occur on Wednesday.
Beyonce’s no stranger to NFL festivities. The singer last performed as at the 2004 Super Bowl in her hometown of Houston when she sang the national anthem. She follows up last year’s Super Bowl performance which featured Madonna and guests Cee-Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and M.I.A., as well as its share of controversy.
