That’s the question on everyone’s mind after Breezy publicly unveiled his new neck tattoo, which clearly depicts a woman’s ravaged face. Yes, you read that right. Chris Brown – the man made infamous for turning one of pop’s prettiest females into the poster child for domestic violence – permanently put a battered mug on his neck for the world to see on the regular.
According to a rep for Brown, the ink is supposed to be “a sugar skull” associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead and was actually suggested by Brown’s tattoo artist. But, it doesn’t matter who’s idea the tat was originally, because apparently both parties were blind when time came to move forward with the stencil.
Either way, this act of reckless thought is so undeniably wrong, you almost – almost – feel bad for the guy. Like, is he serious? Is his mental that messed up that he seriously tatted what could be construed as a battered woman’s face on his neck and didn’t realize there would be backlash? Did he have absolutely no foresight? Or, is the leader of #TeamBreezy such a good entertainer that his mental retardation has just never been highlighted? After all, he always been a tad shy.
Whatever the reasoning is behind this God-awful idea for a tattoo is, Chris Brown can expect to receive more criticism than ever, until the second he’s getting that tacky eyesore removed.
