If the Air Force 1 were a Waffle House menu item, they’d definitely be the hash browns. Over the past 30 years, Nike’s found a way to scatter, smother, cover and dice the model countless ways and still keep it interesting and relevant to core buyers. Bad food metaphor aside, one of the next versions of the AF1 to hit the market will be the Foamposite “Jewel” version, which is just that: the very basic AF1 low done if full, shiny silver Foam and accented with a full jewel swoosh (not the smaller jewel version we’ve seen on recent releases) and a visible Max Air unit in the heel. The end result is a pretty tough piece of work.
Right now, there’s no set U.S. release date. Can’t wait? Pay a little extra to get a pair early from Marquee Sole then go stunt on the block.
