With all this talk about Self Made Vol. 2, Rick Ross still has an album of his own to promote. The Fat Man let loose of the visual for his Usher-assisted single, “Touch’n You,” with the hopes it’ll help put some momentum in the tank for God Forgives, I Don’t. For lack of a better description, it’s the typical grandiose, lavish visual from Ross. An expensive mansion, beautiful swimming pool, a cigar that cost probably more than most of our car notes and an even more beautiful female (whom I’m almost sure had a consistent role on The Game) all help define Ross’ lead single.
Now the question remains, is “Touch’n You” what the doctor ordered for Ross to maintain he stays true to his July 31 release date? It’s smooth and what one could come to expect from a ladies-driven Ricky record. All that said, I’ve been wrong before and the last thing anyone should confuse me as is an A&R, but it just doesn’t “feel” like the banger Rozay needs. I’ll give it a few more weeks to bubble up before making any drastic decision. If you’ve got another banger in the stash though Ross, don’t hold on to it for too long.
