There couldn’t possibly be a better name for Too $hort’s new video than “What The F*ck.” As the promo run continues for No Trespassing, the Oakland legend decided to let label execs and media folk know the profanity in his music is not their problem, by inviting them into his studio and breaking out the bubbly. Or, something like that. From overlapping editing to super random casting, there are a lot of unexplainable things going on this energetic visual, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
More importantly, the song itself is well-executed, with a viable concept and knocking, hard-rock feel. So far, it’s actually one of the better offerings we’ve heard from $hort’s unprecedented nineteenth studio album.

Feeling this.
The definitive Too Short LP’s?
I owned Cocktails & Gettin It, looking to fill out my Beeyotch! playlist.
TOO SHORTS IN THE HOUSE WAS THE BEST… I WAS IN %th GRADE HEARD A RUMOR SLICK RICK AND SHORT WAS DEAD. DAMN.. THEN I HEARD SHORT DOGG IN THE HOUSE.. HAH AHE HAD A SONG ADRESSING THAT RUMOR.. THIS WAS CASSETE TAPE DAYS..IT MADE ME REALIZE RAP WAS MNORE REALER THAN METALLICA OR SOEMTHING AT THE TIME….. ALSO GET LIFE IS TOO SHORT
Dis songs SHLAPPIN!!! #2Short #Byaaatch!
Get In Where You Fit In is by far the best one to me, personally. I also really liked Chase the Cat.
Songwise though, that title goes to “Gettin It” all day, every, each year for the rest of my life.
I feel bad writing this as I sit in Oakland, but damn, this production is terrible. If it weren’t for Short Dog’s vox on this, I wouldn’t have been able to get through it. And what the fuck is up with the stupid ass twitter lingo poppin up all over the video? CHEESE.
I actually thought Short Dog came hard with his verses here, though.
