Labeling Blu’s releases erratic would be a misnomer. At this point, the unexpected has become the expected when it comes to his decisions to liberate music on his own timetable. Late Saturday’s offering was UCLA, a project first referenced last year when the song “ez” released but lacking any concrete info on when or even whether fans would get to hear it in full. With all Madlib production, UCLA can now be streamed below and/or bought from Blu’s Bandcamp page for a cool $15.

That pic woke me up…. cot damn
What he said. ^
With that being said, I’m not sure if I’m gonna shell out a cool $15 dollars for this. Not that I don’t mind new Blu and Madlib, but with Blu’s recent engineering issues (and eccentricity), I’m really leaning toward to just streaming it…
Haven’t really enjoyed a Blu project since Below The Heavens.
When did son turn into the West Coast Charles Hamilton?
And at least Chuck gave his poorly recorded works out for free. 15 bucks is kinda steep to pay for a tape that sounds like it was recorded on a Fisher-Price set up.
You didn’t like “give me the flowers”? whilst I don’t know the album front to back yet, I liked what I’ve heard.
This is a mess, at least the artwork is memorable though…
She obv needs to be on my wood. By the way, is the link working for anybody?
“Sorry, that something isn’t here.
Please start at the beginning and you’ll certainly find what you’re looking for.”
Is all I’m getting
that picture FTW
Only way I’m paying $15 for this is if i get a night with the girl on the cover.
I spent 15 on his last shit with Exile, only because i never paid for Below The Heavens.. But i’ve probably listened to it three times.. I miss the Blu Collar Worker..
The album has disappeared…
Cover made me think of this:
