For the video to this inspirational cut from K’Nann’s More Beautiful Than Silence EP, fans can stroll through the streets of T-Dot and hear the Illmatic MC and his flag-waving homeboy breaking down bars with the gang. Actually, the rather dark song is about battling your way through a rough upbringing and the intimidating tales backing that up, but the huge hook is about how you’re better off having paid those dues. The concept is cool, but sonically those two elements kind of clash.
