Men love women. Women love men. Men piss women off. Women piss men off. The male/female dynamic is the universe’s oldest, and still most confusing battle as each sex continues to fight the endless war that is figuring the other out. In Juse Dayne’s case, he locked himself in a studio and made a mixtape about said topic. Songs About Girls was in rotation for the better part of last weekend and proves to be well thought out project spanning far beyond the conventional, radio-thirsty records catered to the curvier sex.

Each man’s history dealing with females resembles that of a fingerprint in that no two stories are 100% alike. Dayne takes the listener on a trip through the highs, lows, love and occasional resentment on his own personal journey. On some occasions you’ll understand, on some you’ll probably wonder how he ever got himself into that situation, but for the most part it’s a relatable journey with tracks from Phrozen Thumbz, Chase N. Cashe, Tone P. and others.
